Yes. The minimum is 2hrs due to the time and effort involved to take a sailboat out.

     You may charter the sailboat for any length of time beyond this. We will make every                        

     effort to cater to special needs. 6 people are the maximum for charter

 


What should I bring ?

    Plan as you would if you were going to the beach. Hat, sunglasses, sun protection,

    cover up, towel, food and beverages. No coolers or chairs required.

Will I get seasick ?       

    Although La Barca provides a very stable platform seasickness is always a possibility. 

    If you are prone to seasickness take normal precautions. 

 



Are your Captains capable?  

    Very. They are all Coast guard certified. In addition they are very familiar with your

    cruising grounds and are experienced and dedicated in providing customer satisfaction. 

 
Is tipping customary ?

    Captains work hard to insure your pleasure. If they do a good job

    15% is a starting point. Just as in a restaurant tipping is not required

    but customary when the service is deserving.

What will I see and Where will I go ?

    This depends on the length of your charter and weather conditions. Normally you will

    be cruising in Charleston Harbor. You will see the Ravenell Bridge, The city of

    Charleston, Fort Sumter, and Pinckney castle. Charleston Harbor is the second busiest

     port on the East Coast. You will probably see large commercial cargo ships as well as

     a variety of recreational boat traffic. In addition to dolphin a variety of sea life inhabit

     the harbor. On longer charters the Charleston Battery area is within easy reach.
